The Foodhall will close as of October 6th and the Priory House Company will cease to trade.

The Priory site will continue to remain open, and the Priory Trustees and the Priory Development Trust will aim to provide a continuation of the other services like room rental, learning services and a home for both  the Tourist Information Office and the Abergavenny Tapestry.

Thanks to all our loyal customers for their support over the years.

Proceeds from this evening go to help restore St Peter’s Church, Llanwenarth – one of the four Churches in Fr Mark’s Incumbency. St Peter’s Church is a small rural church situated in a stunning location in the Usk valley about a mile outside Abergavenny. The structure of the church is at present causing us some concern as the ringing chamber in the tower was declared unsafe in March 2014 and has been stabilised with internal scaffolding which enables us to keep the church open for worship. The nave and chancel roofs are also deteriorating badly; the lead guttering is failing and the stone slates are falling off. Safety fences have been erected. The PCC is in the process of applying for funding to repair and improve the church.
