Volunteers from St Mary’s Priory will staffing the Tithe Barn Food Hall on Tuesdays from next week.
From 10.30am – 2.30pm they will serve Tea, Coffee, Toast & Toasted Tea Cakes

Tithe Barn’s future being considered

Following he closing of the Priory House Company’s Food Hall the first meeting of the St Mary’s Priory Coordinating Committee was held tonight to look at future plans.
The Committee agreed to allow volunteers from the Church to provide Tea, Coffee and cakes on Market Day in the Food Hall from October 24th for an initial period of three months.
The seven person committee chaired by Canon Mark Soady has two representatives each from the PCC, The Priory Trustees and The Priory Development Trust.
Following the meeting Fr Mark said
While it would not be right to give a running commentary on our talks, it is fair to say that we are looking at some exciting possibilities for the use of the building that will benefit the wider community.
