As HRH The Prince of Wales arrives today (July 7th) for his third visit since the year 2000, Sir Trefor Morris, Chairman of the St Mary’s Priory Development Trust is pleased to announce that the Prince of Wales has graciously accepted the Trust’s invitation to continue as its Patron.
The Prince of Wales has been patron of the Trust since its beginning, and His Royal Highness has most recently taken a keen and key interest in the design of the Jesse Window. The window has been designed by Helen Whittaker, a graduate and now visiting lecturer The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts, and will be dedicated later today as Phase 1 of the development of the Lewis Chapel into a more accessible place of worship, and to provide further facilities for learning and community use in conjunction with those in the Tithe Barn.
G-D bless Prince Charles… I saw a special about him & the ‘boys’ 5 years ago & I realized what an amazing man he truly is. St. Mary’s is in good hands!
